Take the Employment Task Force Survey

In response to the current economic crisis, which has hit our profession hard here in the New York area, the SLA-New York Chapter's Employment Task Force has created a survey to find out how our members are doing, and what sort of support they are looking for when considering redirecting their careers within the special libraries profession.

If you are currently unemployed, or you consider yourself underemployed, or you even have a job but feel you're not using your skills to the fullest, please go to the link below to take the SLA-New York Chapter Employment and Skills Survey. This survey is open to current, past, and future SLA members.

The survey should only take about 15 minutes or less to fill out. Thanks
for your feedback and input. The survey will help the Employment Task
Force create new programs that will address your needs when it comes to
learning new skills as you re-orient the direction of your special libraries career.
